FUNDRAISING
IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
- There is a 30 hour cap put on hours that need to be worked at games and tournaments.
- Coaches will be able to have 15 hours of volunteering deducted from either working in the concession stand after school or working at games and tournaments - they will need to let the team managers know.
- All parents will be required to work a minimum of 15 hours at a game AND tournament for each player in their household. A sign up sheet will be posted at least a week prior to the game or tournament. Sign up will be on a first come basis – if all needed areas are not filled parents of the team will be assigned to cover the vacancies. At the end of season each family will be charged $10 for each hour not completed.
- All parents will be required to work a minimum of 5 hours in the concession stand for after school practices for each player in their household. At the end of season each family will be charged $10 for each hour not completed.
- Parents who can not fulfill their commitment may ask other parents to work their hours for them.
- Parents must buy out of a fundraiser before it starts.
- If fundraising goal is not met or buy out is not completed, the player will be benched until one of the above is done.
- All families will be required to either buyout of or participate in all fundraisers. Meaning, if a fundraiser has already occurred and you have not registered you will be required to buy out of that fundraiser.

- Here are the remaining meat raffle dates through the end of the year. Click here for schedule.
- The meat raffle at Charlie's is every Wed at 5:30. Meat Raffle at Third Base is every Sunday at 3:00.
- Just show up about 10 minutes before the start time and Stacie should be over by the stage in the corner of the bar area.
- Usually Laura is there as well sitting at a table up in that area counting a pull tab game.
- Just introduce yourselves to them and then they will announce the start of the raffle.
- They will give you the tickets and an envelope of money each round (usually there are about are 8 rounds) and then you just go around the bar area and ask if they want to buy a ticket.
- They will also want one of you to go out to the boat bar this time of year, many people out there will want
to buy as well. It's a little bit of a hassle to run out there but it gets the tickets sold.
- When you have sold all of the tickets or everyone that wants to buy has bought, just take the rest and the money up to the lady heading it up. She will mix them up and then have you pull the winning tickets and announce them and then the next round will start.
- Most people that are out there know there is a meat raffle going on and are there specifically for it so it's not hard to sell the tickets this time of year.
- As far as your kids, you can bring them. If they are younger, have them go around with you just to help with the money part. People just can't say no to their cute little faces!! It's usually still pretty calm around there that early in the evening so the kids don't see any bar brawls or anything too crazy! If they have hockey jerseys and want to wear them, that's great, it promotes hockey a little more.
- Any questions, contact Chris Garoutte.
