FUNDRAISING

Recently a fundraising meeting was held with the hockey board. Click here to read Gretchen's e-mail. Or just refer to below to see changes in rules and procedures.

Upcoming fundraisers:

  • There is now an aluminum can recycling bin at the WACC with proceeds going to hockey.
  • Coming up on September 21st Hockey will be having a golf tournament, click here to download brochure & form .
  • The JV/Varsity team is raffling a 2008 Yamaha Zuma, drawing will be February 14 during the varsity hockey game between the 2nd & 3rd period, game is at 3 pm against Kittson Central.

Please note this updated information from the hockey board regarding fundraisers (click here to read letter):

  • All parents will be required to work a minimum of 15 hours at a game or tournament for each player in their household.  A sign up sheet will be posted at least a week prior to the game or tournament.  Sign up will be on a first come basis – if all needed areas are not filled parents of the team will be assigned to cover the vacancies.  At the end of season each family will be charged $10 for each hour not completed.
  • All parents will be required to work a minimum of 5 hours in the concession stand for after school practices for each player in their household.  At the end of season each family will be charged $10 for each hour not completed.
  • Parents who can not fulfill their commitment may ask other parents to work their hours for them.
  • Parents must buy out of a fundraiser before it starts.
  • If fundraising goal is not met or buy out is not completed, the player will be benched until one of the above is done.
  • All families will be required to either buyout of or participate in all fundraisers.  Meaning, if a fundraiser has already occurred and you have not registered you will be required to buyout of that fundraiser.

Skate Sharpening
Unlimited Sharpening (per player): $50.00
Punch Card (5 sharpenings): $15.00
Single Sharpening: $3.00

All skates must have a card in them to be sharpened.  There will be no charging.  Minis/Mites will receive one free sharpening at the beginning of the season.

Winter Raffle
Minis-PeeWees pay $100 up front, tickets are $2 each. You can keep them with your name on the tickets or sell them. Varsity must sell the 5 books or pay $100, tickets are $5 each.
Must sell at least 5 books of tickets per raffle.
Taste of Texas
$25
Must work at a station for a minimum of 2 hours.
Meat Raffles
$30
Must work at least one assigned meat raffle.
